SHT was created to provide a dedicated platform focused exclusively on international patient care, while operating with the expertise, network and standards developed through Bayparker’s long-standing work in healthcare consulting and international projects.

Mariángeles Tapia Soler
Founder and CEO | Bayparker Consulting
Mariángeles Tapia Soler is the Founder and CEO of Bayparker Consulting and leads the strategic direction of SHT. She has an extensive background in healthcare management, oncology services, quality systems and international medical projects.
She has held executive roles in leading hospitals in Barcelona, managing both Medical Oncology and Radiotherapy departments, and has led international healthcare initiatives focused on patient safety, clinical excellence and global collaboration.
With a legal background and strong expertise in healthcare governance, she has implemented international quality systems, including Joint Commission International (JCI). She is an Advisory member of the European Health and Medical Tourism Association (EHMTA) and served as a member of the expert committee for ISO/TC 228 WG2 Medical Tourism.
She is also Secretary General of Barcelona Centro Médico, supporting the international positioning of Barcelona as a leading medical destination.
Yolanda Herreros
Associate Director | Strategy and International Development
Yolanda Herreros is Founder and Director of Gestiona y Suma Salud, a consultancy specialised in international patient experience and healthcare tourism strategy.
She has broad expertise in designing international positioning strategies for medical centres, optimising patient pathways and improving coordination between healthcare and tourism stakeholders. She also works as a quality auditor and expert in continuous improvement, supporting healthcare organisations in meeting demanding clinical and operational standards.
Her profile combines international market knowledge, leadership, and a strong focus on patient experience and quality of care.
Carlos Súnico
Senior Consultant | International Projects and Patient Coordination
Carlos Súnico is a Senior Consultant at Bayparker Consulting and supports the international development and operational coordination of SHT.
He brings experience in international business development, patient service coordination, multicultural client relations and medical travel logistics. Acting as a key point of contact for international partners and patients, he works in both English and Spanish, supporting patients and families throughout their medical journey in Spain.
His approach combines hospitality, operational precision and personalised patient care, ensuring a smooth and professional experience at every stage.
